A father of four girls has reportedly been arrested in Enugu State for allegedly brutalising his daughters with weapons such as a hammer, knives, and iron rods.
Enugu Zonal Command of National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) arrested Johnson Monday Achiso at Ugwuaji area in Enugu Metropolis.
He was apprehended following a tip off by concerned members of the public within the area.
The suspect, said to be a Togolese, has been accused of constantly inflicting grievous harm on his children using available weapons.
The children have been rescued and are currently at NAPTIP Shelter for comprehensive rehabilitation, while the suspect is at the holding centre of the Agency undergoing further interrogation with the aim of unraveling the reason behind his grievous action.
