A brave young lady has caught the attention of social media users after confronting her father for threatening to send her mum to an early grave over an undisclosed scuffle.
The Abuja-based father of five children, in a video now making the rounds on social media, could be seen charging toward his wife before their one of their daughters stepped in.
The young lady in the viral video could also be seen fending off her father as he threatened to beat her up as well with a belt.
At some point in the video that appeared secretly recorded, the daughter slammed her father for being an abuser.
A source speaking to TheCable claimed that the aggressor is identified as Taju Olarewaju.
In a text message, the source stated;
He always has the habit of beating his wife Mrs. Gloria Olarewaju. They have been married for more than 26years with 2 boys and 3 girls. The children have to stand in defense of their mother when he promised to send her to an early grave.
They live in Abuja I learned he is a deacon in a church. We can’t just watch another mother lose her life to domestic violence. Say no to domestic violence.
Many Nigerians have now taken to social media to praise the daughter for being brave enough to defend her mother.
