One Year After, Singer Victony Recounts Fatal AccidentFast-rising singer, Anthony Victor, also known as Victony, has recounted the fatal accident that caused him to use a wheelchair for months.

Recall that the life-threatening accident happened on April 26, 2021 and it unfortunately led to the loss of the singer’s close friend, Doyin, who was in the car when it crashed.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the Holy Father crooner noted that everyone feared for his life the day the accident occurred.

He noted that during the period, he drew strength from God and his fans, also called the Outlaws.

Victony wrote;

On this day last year, everyone feared for my life. I lived in the dark for a while, as I kept drawing strength from God & the Outlaws. Together we reversed the darkest times of my life into a blessing, look how far we’ve come. Today symbolizes Victory for all OUTLAWS.

Remembering his late friend, Victony said, “APRIL 26, #DONYIZZYDAY. Rest in God’s arm, Doyin.”

Victony underwent major surgery after the accident, which happened when he was returning home from a birthday party in the company of his friends.

After the surgery, he was confined to a wheelchair but still released hit tracks and also featured in Mayorkun’s hit song, Holy Father.

However, on December 25, 2021, the singer gave his fans a special Christmas gift as he stood up to perform for the first time since the accident.

Since then, Victony has been seen walking with the use of an aid, until very recently when the singer performed on stage without using any aid.
