COVID-19 Test No Longer Required For Vaccinated Travellers Arriving Nigeria – FG

136 Students Test Positive For COVID-19 Delta Variant In GhanaFederal Government has announced that travellers coming into Nigeria will no longer be required to take COVID-19 test as long as they were fully vaccinated before arriving the country.

The announcement followed a revision of the International Travel Protocols by the Presidential Steering Committee on Monday.

Boss Mustapha, chairman of the PSC, made this known during a press briefing in Abuja on Monday.

He however noted that passengers who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated will still be required to take a COVID-19 PCR test 48 hours before departure, or do a Day 2 and Day 7 test on arrival.

According to Mr Mustapha, such passengers will have to pay for their PCR tests through the federal government’s travel platform.

Also, fully vaccinated passengers will not be charged for rapid antigen tests at the airport.
