Pastor Odukoya's Wife, Nomthi Laid To Rest Amid Tears
The remains of the late Pastor Nomthi Odukoya accompanied by families and friends at the headquarters of the Fountain of Life Church in Lagos, on Tuesday.

Nomthi Odukoya, the late wife of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, founder of Fountain of Life Bible Church, has been buried amidst tears in Lagos State.

MDB had earlier reported that the 47-year-old South African died in the United Kingdom two weeks ago after battling cancer.

Before she was laid to rest, the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, alongside other ministers of the gospel and dignitaries on Monday night attended her night of tributes at the headquarters of Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos.

At the ceremony, Pastor Matthew Asimolowo preached the word of God while the president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Francis Wale Oke prayed for the Odukoya family.

The Fountain of Life Bible Church Choir, “The Grace Levites” led the congregations in Hymns.

The body of late Pastor Nomthi was transported to an undisclosed place for a private interment.

Popular gospel musician, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey ministered at the night of tributes.

Late Pastor Nomthi got married to Pastor Taiwo Odukoya on the 5th of January 2010 five years after he lost his first wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya in the Sosoliso plane crash of 2005.

While his marriage to Bimbo produced three children, his marriage to Nomthi produced two sons.
