Senator Uba Sani Meets Critical Stakeholders In Kaduna Central Senatorial ZoneLawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Senator Uba Sani has reacted to the killing of 38 people by suspected bandits in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Gunmen invaded 3 different villages in the local government between Saturday and Sunday morning and opened fire on the innocent villagers.

Several houses, trucks, and cars were also burnt, along with agricultural produce at various farms.

The death toll from attacks villages in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna has since risen to 38, the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, disclosed this on Sunday evening.

The three villages involved in the attack are Kauran Fawa, Marke and Riheya.

Reacting in a post shared on his Facebook page, Senator Uba Sani condemned the killing which he described as “the bloodiest attacks on Giwa Local Government by murderous terrorists.”

The Senator, who extended his condolences to the bereaved families, urged security operatives to deal decisively with these inhumane and blood-thirsty elements laying siege on the people of Giwa communities.

The statement titled, “MY HEART BLEEDS FOR GIWA 38,” reads:

My heart bleeds for my 38 innocent constituents killed in one of the bloodiest attacks on Giwa Local Government by murderous terrorists. The affected villages where lives and property were mercilessly destroyed are Ruheya, Kauran Pawa, Marke and Idasu Gari.

I urge security forces to take this latest act as an affront and deal decisively with these inhumane and blood thirsty elements laying siege to our people and communities. Take the battle to them. Give them no breathing space. They don’t belong to a civilized society like ours.

He stressed;

I feel the pain of the bereaved families. I extend my sincere condolences to them. I have also instructed my field officers to rush needed assistance to them. I am determined to do all that is necessary to fully support the bereaved families and the villages in Giwa where these enemies of humanity have been showing their evil hands.

May Allah forgive the shortcomings of the victims and grant them AlJannat-ul Firdaus. Ameen.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has also condemned the killing, saying that the gruesome nature of the incident, has made him particularly sad and the attacks is unacceptable.

Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, made this known in a statement on Sunday.

He also extended his condolences to the Government of Kaduna State and the people in the affected local governments.

In addition, Buhari sent the nation’s condolences to the people of Zonkwa Chiefdom and the family of His Highness Nuhu Bature, the Agwam Kajju on his demise.

He prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased.

Speaking further, President Buhari affirmed that the security forces have turned the heat on the terrorists who are getting frustrated and are soft-targeting innocent citizens, looting their assets, burning their homes and killing them indiscriminately.

He also reiterated his directive to the security and intelligence chiefs to do everything they can to destroy the remaining vestiges of the terrorists.
