Dr. Dre Ordered To Pay Nicole Young $3.5 Million A Year In Spousal Support Amid DivorceAmerican music mogul, Dr Dre has settled his divorce case by striking a property settlement agreement with his former wife, Nicole Young.

On Tuesday, a Los Angeles court ordered the music mogul, 56, to pay Nicole, 51, $293,306 each month in spousal support, cover the expenses of their Malibu and Pacific Palisades homes, along with taking care of Nicole’s health insurance.

The agreement, which is consistent with the couple’s prenuptial agreement, will be set in place until Nicole remarries or enters into a new domestic partnership, either of them dies or “until further order of the Court.

The support order is consistent with what he has already been paying since the initial separation,” a source familiar with the situation tells PEOPLE. “It is a fraction of the $2 million per month Nicole and her lawyers demanded.

Dre’s estimated net worth is $820 million. Nicole didn’t get half of Dre’s assets because there is a prenup, which she contested.

Dre gets to keep 7 of the properties they own, including a Malibu home, 2 homes in Calabasas, and 4 properties in the L.A. area, including the $100 million Brentwood estate.

In addition, Dre gets full rights to his master recordings, trademarks and interests in various partnerships and trusts. He also keeps all of their Apple stocks, which includes the proceeds from the sale of Beats by Dre.

They divide their vehicles so that he gets 6 and she gets 4.

She gets to keep jewelry, cash and bank accounts that she had maintained during the marriage. Nicole must pay her own legal fees, which amount to millions of dollars.

The new court development comes more than a month after Dr. Dre was declared legally single several months after Nicole accused the music producer of physical and emotional abuse during their relationship, which he denied.

Marital or domestic partnership status is terminated and the parties are restored to the status of single persons,” the document read.

Nicole filed for divorce from Dr. Dre in June 2020 after 24 years of marriage. The former couple shares son Truce, 24, and Truly, 20.

Among Nicole’s allegations was that Dre “held a gun to my head” in the early 2000s and that he “punched me in the head and face” in 1999.

She said back then;

André has verbally and emotionally decimated my personhood to the extent that I currently suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome.

André denied her claims by telling the court that “at no time did I ever abuse Nicole or threaten her physical safety.

At the time, the Superior Court of California ordered the business mogul to pay Nicole $2 million on or before January 11, 2021 in temporary spousal support.
