RCCG Officially Announces Demise Of Pastor Adeboye's Son, Asks For Family’s Privacy, PrayersRedeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has on Thursday released an official statement announcing the passing of Pastor Dare Adeboye, the second son of its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

According to the statement, Pastor Dare died on Tuesday, May 4, saying “his life was well lived as he served the Lord without reserve, giving effortlessly and leading fearlessly”.

The church said though it was shaken by the sudden death of the young cleric, its anchor remained Jesus Christ.

Read the statement below;

‘It is with a deep and heartfelt sense of loss, we announce the departure of our beloved son, brother, husband and father, Oluwadamilare Temitayo Adeboye. Who went to be with the Lord on the 4th of May, 2021.

His life was well lived as he served the Lord without reserve, giving effortlessly and leading fearlessly. He was crowned by the Lord with blessings of 3 seeds and a beautiful wife.

Though shaken, our anchor remains Jesus Christ in whom we have the assurance that we will one day meet in a place where there is no pain.

It is the wish of the family to be granted privacy at this moment and that prayers be offered on their behalf.

Oluwadamilare Temitayo Adeboye, June 9th 1978 – May 4th 2021.
Remain forever in our hearts.

Dare was born on June 9th 1978 and would have clocked 43 next month.

Meanwhile, well-meaning Nigerians including President Muhammadu Buhari; former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar; ex-Senate President, Bukola Saraki; Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu amongst others have condoled the 79-year-old general overseer and his wife over the irreparable loss of their son.

Pastor Dare Adebayo is survived by his wife, Temiloluwa, three children, parents and siblings.
