Then one follower commented on De Gea’s post: “She was born on our best formation 4-3-21.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s favourite formation is a variation of the set-up with Bruno Fernandes in front of two holders in midfield.

Meanwhile, the United star announced the arrival of his bundle of joy less than 72 hours before United’s crucial derby against Manchester City derby.

Solskjaer has no hesitation in allowing De Gea stay in Spain with his partner, having been absent for United’s goalless draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst park.

United’s second choice goalkeeper Dean Henderson stood in-between the sticks for the red devils (Manchester United) against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night as De Gea was excused for what was repeatedly described as “personal reasons”.

Solskjaer expects him to be back soon but could not give timeframe as Henderson prepares to line up in Sunday’s tough trip to table leaders Manchester City, in a match which could decide United’s title race.

United’s boss spoke to the press ahead of the Manchester derby, where he spoke about his first choice goalkeeper, saying;

It is fantastic day for David. Of course when you become a dad that’s probably the best possible feeling you can ever have. The ones who have been lucky enough to have that feeling know exactly what David is going through now.

Dean Henderson will replace David De Gea.

Solskjaer added;

I will give him the time he needs before he comes back. He has to go home and in the old world that’s a day, you come back and you are ready again. Now with the pandemic and quarantine of course it is a different world, but still when David wanted to there is not even a decision to make. Dean came in and played well and he’s ready, so I will give David the time he needs of course.

Henderson would likely start in United fourth coming games- with Derby against Manchester City, the double legged Europa League last-16 tie against AC Milan and FA Cup quarter – final against Leicester City.
