Lawyer Discontinues Divorce Case Of Couple After Wife Got Pregnant For Husband During COVID-19 Lockdown

A Nigerian lawyer says he has discontinued a divorce case he was handling after the wife got pregnant for her husband during COVID-19 lockdown in the country last year.

It would be recalled that Federal and States Government at different times last year declared lock down as part of measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Sharing the interesting story via his Twitter handle @darknbold1 on Wednesday, the lawyer said;

We dey court dey try to divorce you and your wife, small Covid-19 lockdown you go give her belle. Life no suppose be like that nah. Lawyer to the wife says the baby is CTC of reconciliation. We are discontinuing this matter this morning.

Giving an update about two hours later, the lawyer revealed that the case has been discontinued and that it is one of his most successful case so far.

The Twitter user then advised the couple to name their baby “omolaja”, which in Yoruba means ‘a child who put an end to a fight’.

But in all, this is one of my most successful case so far. Great plot twist to bring the couple back together. Case file closed.
