Buhari’s Nephew, Mamman Daura Reportedly Flown Abroad For Medical Treatment

, a nephew of President Muhammadu Buhari, has reportedly been flown abroad for medical treatment.

According to DailyTrust, a presidency source said that Daura, 80, travelled to the UK for his regular medical check up on Wednesday, August 20, which was delayed because of the COVID-19 restrictions.

The source said;

It’s not an emergency trip, it was planned long ago but was delayed by this pandemic, and you know he has been going to the UK to see his doctors.

President Buhari has also frequently visited the UK for medical checkups before COVID-19 restitutions. Some of his children studied there as well.

The President’s wife, Aisha Buhari, also recently flew to the United Arab Emirates for treatment.

According to reports, Daura is among the most influential figures around the President, who advises him on making key decisions.
