Eight-time Olympic gold medallist, Usain Bolt has for the first time shared adorable photos of his daughter and unveiled her name after his long-term partner Kasi Bennett gave birth to their baby in June.

The Sprinter and Bennett welcomed their first child on June 14 but have since kept her name secret.

He first announced the pregnancy in an Instagram post in January, when he posted an image of the Bennett cradling her baby bump.

The 33-year-old sprinter has now shared a number of adorable pictures on his social media accounts on Tuesday night, as he celebrated his partner on her birthday.

In some of the pictures, Bennett was draped in a flowing ballgown as she sat cradling their little girl.

The couple also unveiled the name of their newborn daughter as Olympia Lightning Bolt.

His caption for photos read;

I want to wish my girlfriend Kasi a happy birthday and to let you know I am happy I get to spend your special day with you. I want nothing but happiness for you and will continue to doing my best keeping a smile on your face. Now we have started a new chapter together with our daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt. I look forward to what the future will bring for us but be reassured that I will be the ROCK for this family. I Love you and happy 21th birthday.

The name is no doubt an insanely apt and appropriate one that truly suits the daughter of the Jamaican sprint star widely regarded as the fastest man on the planet and an eight-time Olympic Games gold medallist.

The sprinter and Bennett hosted an extravagant gender reveal party in March which featured fireworks and a huge celebrity guest list, after which the world record holder for both 100m and 200m posted a social media video in which he announced: “I just did the reveal and I am a girl dad.”

The Jamaican is an 11-time world champion and the only man in history to win golds at three successive Olympics, doing so in 2008, 2012 and 2016.

He retired after the 2017 World Championships in London after suffered a hamstring injury in what was the final race of his career.

The star has said in the past that he was not sure whether he would push any of his future child towards athletics, feeling that their father’s legacy could be too tough a cross to bear.

Congratulations to the couple!
