Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has gifted veteran actor, Kayode Olasehinde ‘Ajirebi’ also known as Pa James a new house.
The kind gesture comes after the house of the comic actor in Oke Isagun community of Oke Odo LGA, Lagos was invaded by flood after a recent heavy rainfall in the state.
The flood was caused by an overflowing canal near his street, which damaged his belonging.
Announcing the kind gesture by Funke Akindele, another actress Kemi Korede via Instagram wrote;
On behalf of PA JAMES, I Want to say Big thank you to Funke Akindele for the new apartment given to him by you. God bless you so much for your good heart. your type is so rare. You are a gem. Almighty God will continue to make way for you where there seems to be no way.
In another post, Kemi thanked those who assisted the veteran actor, saying;
To all that had supported pa James we say a big thank you. Our colleagues that came all out to help we say thank you and God bless you all.
Pa James’ predicament went viral after his son Samuel Ajirebi cried out for help on social media, posting a picture of the state of his father’s house.
In 2019, Samuel had in similar manner called for help from Nigerians after same house got flooded.
