Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 462 new cases of coronavirus, as total toll exceeds 63,000 on Friday.
In the centre’s latest data posted on Twitter, there are now;

It would be recalled that on Thursday, the country’s total coronavirus was 42,689 with 19,270 discharged patients and 878 causalities.
With the new toll, there are now 43,151 total cases, 19,565 recoveries and 879 death cases across the country.
Also, according to NCDC’s situation report, total samples tested nationwide have increased from 276,053 to 279,675 as at July 31.
In other news, two new laboratories have been activated for inclusion in the NCDC Molecular Lab Network.
They are Molecular Diagnostics Lab, Gombe State Specialist Hospital and United Nations IOM Lab, FCT.
There are currently 61 labs with capacity to test for COVID-19 in the NCDC laboratory network.
