Veteran Nigerian-American broadcaster, Daniel ‘Dan’ Foster has died from coronavirus complications at age 60.

According to his wife, Lovina, he died from the virus hours after testing negative.

Foster is regarded as one of the best radio presenters in Nigeria, earning nationwide appeal during his stint as one of Cool FM’s most acclaimed on air personalities.

Popularly known as ‘The Big Dawg’, the OAP worked with numerous radio stations in America before relocating to Nigeria in 2000.

He was also the creator and director of the Cool Fm Praise Jam concerts that have taken place since 2004, with a total of over 22, 000 people in attendance.

In September 2009, Foster left Cool FM after he joined year 2000, for a new radio station Inspiration FM, but left in 2014 to join City FM.

In May 2016, Dan Foster left City FM 105.1 to join Classic FM 97.3 radio station where he worked until his death.

Dan Foster is survived by his wife, Lovina and 3 children.
