Nigerians Call For Justice For Bello Barakat Who Was Allegedly Killed After Failed Attempt To Rape Her In Oyo

An 18-year-old lady, Barakat Bello has been allegedly murdered after a failed attempt to rape her at her house in Akinyele Local Government Area of Ibadan, Oyo state on June 2nd.

Bello was reportedly a student at the Institute of Agricultural Research And Training (IAR&T) in Ibadan, Oyo.

According to unconfirmed reports, men believed to be armed robbers stormed Bello’s family house, found her alone at home and killed her after she resisted being raped.

The incident has now led to outrage on social media with many Nigerians on Twitter calling for the perpetrators of the dastardly act to be fished out and made to face the wrath of the law.
