Thanks for your concern, first the two bags of rice is not for the entire cdc as I don’t have financial capability for that, I bought 116 bags of rice and 34 were given to the 17 area cdc’s in my constituency while the rest was share to other relevant groups.

My advice to them is for each of the cdc to pick maximum of two vulnerable persons (elderly and aged widow) or even one person per each of the 40 cda’s to make maximum of 80 persons per cdc and share it to them. Some did it as advised while others mocked us as giving 2 bags of rice to 40 cdas.

Sincerely, I did not bother my head about such criticism because I knew i have done my best in the circumstance according to my capability, I feel humbled as well by appreciation shown by some. I need to state here that the cdc in question, Ajumosere is not in my constituency, I gave them because they were formerly part of Emilajulo cdc that belongs to my constituency.

Today, Thursday 9th April, 2020, through a committee comprising of major stakeholders including cdc, opposition parties, religious groups etc, i gave 1200 people a pack of food that is enough for a day ( rice or beans with cube and salt ) i believe that if i can’t feed them everyday ,i should be glad that i have God’s grace to do for few of the lockdown days.

Like i have been doing, I appeal to all well to do people in various communities to please help the needy among them as government or we the elected can never have enough for the entire citizenry. Thanks once again and God bless you for your concern.
