Pius Adesanmi: See Late Professor’s Eerie Tweets 12 Days Before Ill Fated Ethiopian Plane Crash
RIP: He shared this photo after his last birthday 12 days ago

Renown Nigerian Professor and writer Pius Adesanmi was one of the passengers on the ill fated Boeing 737-800MAX with registration number ET- AVJ, which took off at 08:38 am local time from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and lost contact at 08:44 am.

The Professor who until the time of his death lectured at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada celebrated his birthday few days before the crash.

Exactly 12 days before he lost his life in the crash, the renown author took to Twitter to thank God for sparing his life after he survived a near fatal accident a year ago. The post traumatic effect of the accident according to him left him waking up in the dead of night, shivering and shaking due to nightmares, as he relived the scene that nearly killed him.

As a result of the nearly fatal accident, the late Adesanmi said he was grateful-for-life and was looking forward to 2019 being the year of drip drip drip good news in his life, before another tragedy, this time fatal struck again.

Pius Adesanmi wrote on Twitter to celebrate his birthday on February 28th:

The day after… I’ve written so many “eniyan l’aso mi” updates after moments like this. I’d sound like a broken record deploying that trope yet again. So, I am just going to say thank you for making my day memorable yesterday.

Like I said, this birthday holds a special significance because I wasn’t meant to see it. Nearly a year later, I still wake up in the dead of night, shivering and shaking because of nightmares, reliving the scene that nearly took me, remembering those who didn’t make it.

So, I thank you for all your kind words yesterday, whether here, in my inboxes, phone, on your own TLs. My spirit tells me that God spared me because He has decided that 2019 will be the year of drip drip drip of good news in my life.

And the year of drip drip drip of good news in your lives too. May we all be here to celebrate the drip drip drip of good news in our lives. Thank you. E seun gan ni o.
