A young Lady recently narrated on Twitter how a human resource personnel helped her cousin who has been unemployed for 6 years.
According to the tweets posted on the micro blogging social networking site, he was called by an HR executive from one of the firms he applied to. He then pleaded with the executive, asking to reschedule the interview.
The curious HR exec is said to have asked: “May I know why?” He then truthfully told her that he had no money fro transportation or decent clothes to wear for the interview and that he needed time to rally round for this.

The Twitter user Iremide who narrated her cousin’s interesting experience went on to say that three days later the HR executive called her cousin again, asking for his account details. What happened unknown to her cousin was that after he spoke with the HR executive, she informed two of her colleagues and the three of them decided to pool money together for him for clothes and transportation for the interview. He then went for the interview and thankfully, he got the job! Beautiful story right?

People have been showering the unknown HR executive with encomium and prayers and have even compared her to another HR executive who similarly called a job seeker and talked about it in a tweet. She wrote:

This HR executive got mixed reactions to her tweet with many siding with the job seeker. Other’s however think that the job seeker’s attitude is what cost him the job opportunity and he could have explained why he couldn’t make it, and not just say he was ‘busy’.

What are your thoughts on these two stories?
