Nigerian US based singer, Speed Darlington, whose song was played during the reality show’s Saturday night party headlined by DJ Lambo, called out Big Brother over not getting paid.

According to Speed Darlington in the video he shared on Instagram, he makes no money as an independent artist, and therefore deserved to be paid by BBNaija.

“I hear BBNaija is using Bangdadadang and they gave me no money. They are using my music for free without penny in my pocket.

“All of you at my palace. I want to know if it’s true that someone is milking independent artist like me. Knowing very well I make no money from music, anytime you play my music on radio or TV I got to get paid” he said in the video.

This is coming few months after Speed Darlington took to social media to celebrate, after he made $135 in music sales for the first time in 7 years.

He wrote;

Lmaoooo! Thank God! Finally I have made $100 & more from music selling. After 7 years I been releasing music singles + video to help push it. #BangDadaDang👣🔥done make me money lol. Still grateful *My Party* made me 135$

Speed Darlington began to trend on social media sometime last year after a couple of his music videos hit the internet. Prior to that time, the rapper had actually been pursuing his dreams as a musician and even had an epic Twitter fight with Vic O over who is a better artiste.

Many people consider him more of a comic musician, Speed Darlington who went viral after Diddy shared his video saying he inspires him, considers himself a serious artiste.

Now Speed is giving Vic O a run for his money and putting some respeck on his name! Complementing him on his popular son “Bang Dada Dang”, Diddy wrote;

I love this. Brother! He inspires me!!! Bang DIDA DANG!!! #moodforever#teamlove.”
