The 90th Academy Awards (2018 OSCARS) red carpet was awash with beautiful ball gowns and dazzling dresses.
The stars pulled out all the stops for the biggest night in the showbiz calendar, dazzling in custom-made emsembles as they walked the carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, LA.
All eyes were on the red carpet after Rights Activist Tarana Burke, who founded the Me Too movement, said she didn’t mind people not wearing black at the Oscars , though at the other award ceremonies it’s been the colour of choice.
While some still opted for the sombre tone, others saw out the end of the awards season out with a different form of glamour.
Disney star Sofia Carson brought some serious drama to the red carpet in a red caped dress, whilst Best Supporting Actress nominee Alison Janney looked stunning in a red plunging gown.
Get Out star Allison Williams looked ethereal in a ivory gown.
Actress in Eiza González turned heads in a bold yellow dress, showcasing her incredible figure.
Jane Fonda defied her 80 years in a structured white gown, whilst Helen Mirren, 72, looked incredible in a royal blue gown.
