Some days ago, Moses Motoni, project tracking officer for BudgIT Nigeria was allegedly unlawfully arrested and manhandled.
In a series of tweets shared on BudgIT Nigeria’s twitter page, they claim his arrest was ordered by lawmakers for sensitizing citizens on the budget in Niger State and he was arrested by plain clothed men without any means of identification.

However, the Nigerian Police Force said that Moses Motoni is alive and was not arrested by SARS operatives like BudgIT claims, yet he is being granted bail.
