– President Buhari’s media aide Femi Adesina has stated that the APC has no Presidential candidate yet for 2017
– Adesina made this know during a TV interview
– He said the President ‘may not’ contest in the elections and will not be given an automatic ticket by the APC
President Buhari’s spokesperson, Femi Adesina, who was on Osasu Igbinedion’s guest on ‘Osasu Show’, talked about the 2019 election, and also revealed that APC has no Presidential candidate yet.
Adesina who disclosed that President may not contest in the election added that APC won’t give anyone an automatic ticket as that will be undemocratic.
The media aide also talked about the President’s health, further said his healing is a miracle and quite phenomenal.
“As the local saying goes, you don’t shave a man’s head in his absence and nobody can decide for the President. He is the one who can decide for himself.
“People can voice their opinion which they have done, people can indicate their desire but the ultimate decision will be that of the president.
“So far, we don’t have a candidate for 2019.”
