Nigerians Defend Maje Ayida, Says He’s Right To Sue Toke Makinwa If She Was Lying [Read Reactions]

Social media has been abuzz ever since news broke of Maje Ayida’s decision to press Toke Makinwa on charges of defamation of character.

According to news reports this morning, Maje Ayida’s lawyers had written to Toke Makinwa to stop selling copies of her best selling book ‘On-Becoming’ within a set deadline which has since passed.

It is keen to note that neither Toke nor Maje have issued any official statement in reaction to this but Fans don’t need any of that to give their takes and two cents on the situation.

And it seems some Nigerians are majorly in support of Maje’s move, saying he has the right to sue Toke Makinwa for defamation if she indeed lied about things she had written in her book.

Well that remains to be seen, as this saga promises to be a long one, with both sides obviously looking to get at each others feelings somehow.

A tale of love gone sour.

Sola I with Maje, because under the law it’s his fundamental human rights to fight for his right.
Toke’s biography or a tell all whatever she calls it makes her look like the saint and Maje the villain.
