Brazilian President Michel Temer Weeps For Plane Crash Victims

Brazil’s President has expressed his grief for the victims of the Colombia plane crash which killed 76 people, including members of Brazilian soccer team Chapecoense.
Michel Temer said in a statement: “I express my solidarity in this sad hour during which tragedy has beset dozens of Brazilian families.

“The government will do all it can to alleviate the pain of the friends and family of sport and national journalism.”

Around 20 sports journalists due to cover the final Chapecoense were due to play on Wednesday also died in the tragedy.
