President Barack Obama has appointed a new US Ambassador to Nigeria.
The new Ambassador identified as Stuart Symington is expected to replace James Entwistle, who retires at the end of the month.
Making the announcement, Obama in a statement published on White House website was quoted as saying:
“I am honored that these talented individuals have decided to serve our country. They bring their years of experience and expertise to this administration, and I look forward to working with them.”
