The alarming rate at which children have been dissapearing in recent times has left many Lagosians  angry, making them resort to jungle justice anytime a scape goat is caught.  As a result, a woman suspected of kidnapping almost met her Waterloo yesterday but for the timely Intervention of the police.

According to an eyewitness, after 5 children had been reported missing around  Owode, Ajegunle Ikorodu area of Lagos state, this woman (pictured above) was caught while trying to escape with two children she had abducted in front of a primary school.

A woman who saw her, identified one of the children and suspected a foul play. She immediately called the child’s mother, who replied that she had been searching for the child.

The suspect, who reportedly said she sells each child at the rate of N50, 000, has since been handed over to the police.

Oh! They even left her alive? No! Being a woman jungle justice should settle her case so she understands the pain of losing a baby. I don’t trust the Nigerian police to investigate this matter properly. One thing is for her to lead us to the places she had sold the babies in the past. Very important if am asked.

God have mercy on us. Nigerians are really angry people, esp now with the way things are going in the country, so they always seek a way to vent their anger at any unlucky scape goat by meting out jungle justice… if only our police functioned properly we won’t resort to such barbaric acts.
