Finally Tiwa Savage Opens Up On Broken Marriage, Says “I Have Never Cheated On My Husband, With Don Jazzy, Dr. Sid, Or 2face” (Watch)
Nigerian pop singer, Tiwa Savage, 36, in a video exclusively obtained by Pulse Nigeria has addressed her husband’s shocking allegations made yesterday, Thursday, April 28, 2016.
In the video interview conducted by Azuka Ogujiuba of This Day Newspaper, Tiwa Savage spoke about her husband and former manager Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun.
Speaking on the same day of Tee Billz’s allegations at her home, the award winning singer said her marriage to her former manager was filled with infidelity, emotional abuse, drug use and mismanagement of funds.
Tiwa Savage admitted their marriage has been on the rocks for a while and she has covered up for a lot of his mistakes. “For the past 2 months me and TJ have not been together” revealed the singer.
In an emotional revelation she emphatically denied Tee Billz’s accusation that she had sex with Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy, her record label mate Dr. Sid and Nigerian music legend2face Idibia. She even offered to take a lie detector test to show her honesty.
“I will say for the record I have never cheated on my husband, never, not with Don Jazzy, not with Dr. Sid, not with 2face, not with anybody. I am willing to take a lie detector test” said Tiwa Savage.
She also made claims that Tee Billz lives an expensive, wild and sadly unaffordable lifestyle which has embarrassed her several times. In the interview Tiwa Savage also mentioned that theEconomic & Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and his debtors are on the hunt for him because of his N45m alleged debt.
Tired of his emotional abuse, lies and infidelity Tiwa Savage has said that her marriage is over and she is focused on raising her son. “I don’t care at this point if I don’t ever get married again” admitted the Mavin Records singer.
Although she says is done with her marriage, Tiwa Savage said she is still praying for Tee Billz.

I think the husband missed the opportunity of managing her very well. He suppose to build himself well so as not to depend on the wealth of the wife as the case may look like.

This right here is messed up, and her PR team messed up big time, they make her look so desperate with the way she came swinging at TeeBillz.
I always thought she was professional, cos I thought she should have learnt from celebrities like Beyonce, Kim kardashian that get plague by rumors all the time.

I’ve never supported bullying of any kind, either cyber, verbal, emotional, or physical….
If you read my comment carefully and intelligently, you’ll notice I’m not against TIWA defending herself, cos she has the right to it, what I’m against is the way and manner she’s dealing with the mess created by TeeBillz. It’s so shabby.
This matter is not just closed door, it’s out in the public, and I believe it also affect a lot of her fans who see her as an exceptional being.
I believe she should have a master plan in place, first by hiring personal who are well skilled on the internet, they should start circulating all these information she talked about in the interview on social media, while she remain silent, and cancel any public engagement for now, money should not be her priority now, her career her life and her future is at stake now, she should stay away from the public, while her PR team release incriminating evidence against TeeBillz through anonymous source that can’t be traced back to her, all these will help her gain public sympathy first, cos they’ll understand her pain and they will fight for her, even before she release her statement. Take Beyonce, Toke Makinwa as a case study.
You have to understand, this is not just a family matter, it also affect her career, her life, the dream and vision she spent many years building, this guy TeeBillz literally kneecap her, he threw a spanner in her wheels, he sowed a seed of doubt in everyone, and she can’t just get back on the horse immediately without neutralizing the root of the problem.
A man was biting by a snake and instead of killing the snake first, scare it away or run for safety, he stood in the same spot treating his wound with the snake beside him. That’s the kinda situation we have here.
I stand by my previous comment, this interview is shabby and crappy, cos they make it so obvious what she’s up to, that is, public sympathy.
I wish her all the best, and I pray she come out of this mess scar free. I know a lot of women go through this kinda mess she’s in right now and I know it’s not easy. It won’t be nice to loose such a beautiful career over this mess.
