Kemi Olunloyo is currently in the custody of the Port Harcourt Prison Service for not meeting her bail conditions, new reports have confirmed.
According to EiE Nigeria, the vocal blogger was remanded in prison custody after her arrest, and that the nature of her crime remains unknown. However, Olunloyo had earlier revealed that she was charged with cybercrime for her malicious post about Pastor David Ibiyeomie.
Weeks ago, Olunloyo, who had gained some notoriety for attacking prominent people, took to her Instagram to share a story she received from an Instagrammer alleging that the popular preacher had been in an amorous relationship with Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo. Neither the preacher nor the actress reacted to the accusation, but Olunloyo later claimed she received threatening calls from the preacher. Shortly after, she announced that she had been whisked by the police for criminally defaming David Ibiyeomie.
EiE Nigeria which confirmed her arrest and current location says the blogger remains in prison custody for not meeting her bail condition. However, the nature of the charges against the daughter of a former governor were not known as at press time.
