Is She Wrong For This? Twitter Meltdown Over Video Of Nigerian Girl Who Yells ‘Shut Up!’ At Mum

7

Just saw this video of the young lady above, who while trying to record a shot video with her mum tells her mum to ‘shut up’.

The video has  be met with a to of mixed reactions. While some say she was joking with her mum whom she seems to have a very good rapport with, other thinks its outrightly disrespectful.

Now my mum and I are very close, and we share a lot of jokes and all, but I will NEVER EVER tell my mum to ‘SHUT UP’ under any circumstances…never. I will probably say ‘mummy now…just smile don’t say anything’ or ‘mummy,  oooooooo!’ but not shut up. Thats for me.

Watch the video below and let me know what you think.

  1. I can't says

She is very stupid. No matter how familiar they are, her mum is her mum. She said the shutup like she was talking to her friend. Even some Americans will never speak to any of their parents like that. They can yell and storm out but not shut up. And this babe is even a Nigerian. She don see the woman finish.

Jokes indeed. The girl is rude and her mum doesn’t mind. She should try the joke with her mother inlaw firt and she will find out how funny it is.

That is very very impertinent, may God let the stigma she puts herself be removed so that she can get married.

Here we go again!!! People taking panadol on top of others matters. Come on guys, she’s joking, it’s kinda like a skit, the mum is having fun with her daughter, and from what I’ve seen they both have a kinda informal relationship, her mum his like her pal and I think it’s good for a mother daughter relationship, cos the daughter have her mum as her confident, someone she can share anything with.

I know it’s kinda rude, believe me I dare not say that to my mum, all hell will be let loose, but when you pay close attention to the circumstances and her expression, you can’t help but notice the sense of humor in the video.
We are all raise in a different environments and what seems odd to you may be nothing to others and from what have seen so far ladies like this end up with great husband and family, that’s why for so long I’ve seems not to judge others for their parenting skills.

Someone I really appreciate and acknowledge Joseph Edgar ones wrote an article about how he have an informal relationship with his children, how they call him by his nickname and his cool with it.
